Description
The range's GU is characterized by a symmetrical lip profile. It is used for both stem and piston sealing, in hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. Material: NBR 90 Shore. The GU is characterised by a sharp-edged lip. Its profile is identical to that of the GUM, differentiating for the dimensions with references in inches. In some cases the gaskets are mounted with the insertion of a stop ring,which prevents them from translating axially into the seat. The stopping ring shall not compress the seal into the housing, but shall allow a clearance of 0,5 1 mm. In the ring, moreover, it is necessary to make a series of holes which have the purpose of distributing in equal measure the pressure fluid on the two seals. In addition to the standard material, on request the GU can be supplied in other compounds:FKM (viton), EPDM, VMQ (Silicone).
