Description
Swivel joints improve the possibilities and conditions of use of high pressure hoses for hydraulics.joint-swivel-a-90-2in general are mounted between the extremity of a tube and a rigid part of an apparatus, allowing the tube to oscillate movements around the rotation axis of the joint.
This oscillating movement cancels the torsion stresses of the hose, preventing damage.
In the drawings above is represented the type with flow deviated to 90°, which, up to the measure 3/4" included, is derived from a hexagon, while the measure 1" is derived from a round. As for the rotation mechanism, for the measures 1/4" – 3/8" – 1/2" it is composed of one crown of spheres; for all the others it is composed of two.
